1Our approach
We want you to feel safe paying for a project. If a project stops before it is finished, you should only pay for the work that was truly done, and the rest should come back to you.
This policy applies to every WebCrest Solutions project, including WordPress development, UI/UX design, business websites and online stores. It works together with our Terms & Conditions and our Dispute Policy.
2When you can get a refund
You may cancel a project at any time by sending a written request to [email protected]. Depending on the situation, you can receive a refund in these cases:
- You cancel before we have started any work.
- You cancel after work has started, and you have paid more than the value of the work completed.
- We are unable to complete your project.
- You were charged by mistake, for example a double payment or a wrong amount.
3How the amount is worked out
| Situation | What we refund |
|---|---|
| Cancelled before work begins | All payments, less any approved, non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred. |
| Cancelled after work has started | The amount paid, minus the value of the completed work and any approved, non-recoverable third-party costs. |
| We cannot complete the project | The unearned portion of your payment. |
| Billing mistake or double payment | The extra amount that was charged. |
The advance payment is not automatically forfeited. It is counted as part of what you paid, and the refund is calculated as shown above.
4What is deducted
Only two things can be deducted from a refund, and we will show you how each figure was reached:
- Completed work: the value of the work we have already done for you, based on the quotation and the stage the project reached.
- Third-party costs: money we already paid to others for your project, such as a domain, hosting, a premium theme or plugin, or stock images, but only when we approved it with you first and it cannot be recovered.
We will never deduct a cost you were not told about.
5How to request a refund
Send an email to [email protected] with:
- Your name, business name and the project or invoice number.
- The reason for your cancellation or refund request.
- The date and method of your payment, and a receipt if you have one.
We will reply with the refund amount and how it was calculated. Once you receive that confirmation in writing, the refund process begins.
6Refund timeline
We initiate the refund within 10 working days after the refund amount has been confirmed in writing. It normally goes back to the original payment method.
After we send it, your bank or the payment gateway may need some extra time to show it in your account.
7Banks and payment gateways
Banks and payment gateways have their own processing times and rules, and we cannot control them. If the refund has not appeared after the usual time, send us the payment details and we will help you follow it up with them.
Please do not reverse or block a payment with your bank before talking to us. We can usually solve the problem much faster directly.
8If we end a project
We may suspend or end a project if payments stay overdue, the agreed brief is changed repeatedly without good reason, or the requirements are unlawful. We will give you notice and deliver the work that has been paid for, as set out in the agreed terms.
9If you disagree
If you do not agree with a refund decision or the amount we calculated, please tell us in writing. We will review it again and explain our figures. If we still cannot agree, our Dispute Policy explains the next steps.
10Your rights and contact
These terms do not limit the consumer rights you have under the law. We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and requests already open continue under the version they started with.
